On August 17, we’ll be teaming up with friends from the Falaise Community Association for a fresh coat of creativity! We’re repainting and expanding the Falaise Crescent Road Mural, and we’re calling on volunteers to roll up their sleeves and help bring the street to life.

Just as in past years, the Greater Victoria Placemaking Network has partnered with the Falaise Community Association to install the mural in 2022, and participate in an annual refresh and repaint. GVPN stellar volunteer Teale Phelps-Bondaroff has been huge promoter of the benefits of road murals in placemaking, as seen in this 2-minute video: Introduction to Road Murals in Saanich.
This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how road murals happen — and to explore how to make one in your own neighbourhood!
