Here at the GVPN, we are delighted with the recent recognition of the network’s dedication to placemaking in the region.
City of Victoria Mayor Marianne Alto and Township of Esquimalt Mayor Barbara Desjardins have proclaimed July 20th, 2024 ‘Placemaking Day.’ District of Saanich Mayor, Dean Murdock, recognized Placemaking Day and that the Network has been at the forefront of advocating for and implementing innovative placemaking initiatives throughout the region for the past decade. We will be celebrating on July 20!
