Placemaking is all about real people getting engaged with public space.
At our organizational meeting in January 2015, we were pleased to have one of our our youngest placemakers (7 years) present a drawing of his concept for public space.

If we want urban spaces to work for everyone – families included – we need to involve everyone – children included. We experience the world differently when we experience it through the eyes of kids. We hope that kids are always involved in our walks, community events, and discussions.
