The Annual Times Colonist Book Sale is taking place the first weekend of May, and the day after the sale (May 5th) local non-profits are invited to collect whatever is left over. This long-standing relationship has help keep our region’s 900+ little free libraries well-stocked.
The Greater Victoria Placemaking Network asked me to answer a few questions about our Pocket Places Project helps promote, map, stock, and build little free libraries across the CRD. And I wanted to share a few of my favourite #LittleFreeLibrary stories
To date, our project has mapped over 899 of these adorable little book boxes (and others that share puzzles, board games, plants, seeds, and more). And our project has delivered over 112,000 books!
