Inspired by our coastal waters, the wavy bench design offers a variety of seating and table options, includes storage for emergency supplies, hosts a solar powered charging station, and offers a community bulletin board for local emergency information.
The collaborative program by our friends and partners, Building Resilient Neighbourhoods, combines emergency preparedness through Victoria’s Connect and Prepare with a local planning and design studio, Neighbour Lab.
The ‘Get to know your Neighbour Hub’ event will follow strict COVID-19 health and safety guidelines. All participating restaurants and businesses will only offer patio or takeout options. At the Neighbour Hub, please remain two metres apart, visit with your household bubble, wear masks and adhere to other health regulations.
