For all those interested in placemaking, and wanting to do a little creative thinking (and doing) about public space in Victoria, check out this “Ship Point Pop-Up” competition for this summer!
Ship Point on Victoria’s inner harbour is used as a special event space but becomes a vehicle parking lot between events. Ship Point has been identified as one of 11 ‘special places’ along The David Foster Harbour Pathway. Once complete, this pathway will be more than five kilometers in length and will extend from Ogden Point, along the waterfront and as far as Rock Bay.
