Join us for conversations with Joaquin Karakas, Senior Urban Designer with The City of Victoria, to learn about Visual Victoria (wayfinding and streetscape design). “Reimagining our public spaces” is the tag line for #VisualVictoria: taking a new look at how people find their way around downtown, the design of public space, and amenities like seating, plantings, games, you name it.
We will meet for a talk at CityStudio at 3:30 pm, then at 4:30 take a walk around to look at specific downtown streetscape scenarios. At about 5:45, we will debrief over drinks at a downtown pub.
